Genre 2 Outline/Proposal Proposal: Interview/ Magazine article
The second genre to answer my question is to do an interview. I chose this genre because it answers my question in the best possible way. I thought of creating questions of my own from areas that do make a difference between the generations, such as music, life style, etc. and asking those questions to my parents, uncles or aunts, and my sister, and friends who are teenagers now. Thus, I would be able to compare the thoughts of the two groups of generation and how they differ. I will have to plan out the interview with questions that refer to my main question. If I write my second genre like a magazine article, I will be able to conclude the article by comparing the two interviews which will give a clearer sense to the readers.
Interview parents first
Interview sister and other teenage friends
Conclude by comparing the two interviews
Possible questions to ask:
What type of music did/do you listen to? Was/is there a specific music trend? How about favorite musician?
How was/is your everyday life scheduled?
What do/did you eat, and do/did you enjoy it?
How was/is school life for you? (Grades, method of learning, curriculum, teachers, peers, etc.)
What are/were some of the influences that affect you the most as a teenager?
Did/do you care a lot about the clothes you wear/wore? What would be the latest trend, if any?
